Quad State Reader Discovers A Business ‘Diamond in the Rough’

[Editor’s Note: Our Quad State region has some very useful resources hidden in the various corners along the I-81 and I-70 corridor. QSBJ reader and consultant Dave Ranck tells us of an Eastern Panhandle resource that has thoroughly impressed him.]
I would like to recommend to all business owners, big and especially small, or to all contemplating business establishment in the Eastern Panhandle to check out the tremendous resources at the Eastern Panhandle Technology Innovation Center located in Charles Town, WV.
I attended last week a free presentation on “Obtaining free and cheap software for your StartUp!”.  The presenter was Sharon Poffinberger, from Williamsport, MD.  She was an expert in providing the information even for those, like me, who already in business.
Programs include a workshop underway entitled ‘Eptic-Dynamic Entrepreneurship Focusing on Value Proposition, Business Model Canvas, Lean Startup”.  This workshop is several weeks long and meets one night per week.  There is a cost effective fee and a discount to veterans!
The Center works with other area business development organizations to provide quality programs to our area businesses.  I would recommend business owners check this “diamond in the rough” for the best in quality education and assistance.
